Ads by Google was created by Schweig!
Well, I guess someone has to pay the server bills...

But couldn't Ken sell his Risk: Black Ops game for $500 instead?

Please DON"T click on the ads just to fund the site. It will violate our terms of agreement with google. We (i.e. the site mangers) are not even supposed to be discussing the ads.

What the fuck? Who puts out adds and then asks for them to be ignored?

Anyway I'll update the FAQ to refect this change in policy. If anyone wants something added to the FAQ then now is a good time to ask.

I didn't mean to imply that the ads should be ignored. This thread doesn't make too much sense anymore since part of it was deleted. Some over enthusiastic members posted something that could be interpreted as encouraging users to click on the ads to support the site.

Google's policy is:

Clicks on Google ads must result from genuine user interest. Publishers participating in the AdSense program may not encourage users to click the Google ads by using phrases such as "click the ads," "support us," "visit these links," or other similar language.

I hope that our content does generate ads of genuine interest. I saw a couple for TI3, Cosmic Encounter and Dune that looked interesting. A few for Board Game Geek have floated by as well (Is that ironic? We need a grammar Nazi here! Anyone?)

If I ever find out who that was, I will KILL HIM where he stands!

Uh..I mean...I'm *assuming* it was a he.
