...

Say hello to Prettiest Princess Games!

Oh snap, what's this? I'm selling the fuck out and cashing the fuck in my friends! After years of helping other people buy new houses (and move to Florida!) the time is ripe for me to start publishing games myself and I'm obviously going to be using the Fort's favorite dead horse to beat, Kickstarter.

What the fuck do I know about publishing and/or designing games? Surprisingly a lot. Besides all my experience on the edges of the gaming industry for the last decade+, I ran a successful indie record label for over a decade and thus have pretty decent experience with all the boring stuff like international shipping and taxes so I don't expect to end up having to get a second mortgage to send 12 copies to Estonia.

I'm planning to write a more condensed "designer diary" (or would it be publisher diary?) but I figured I'd post some more regular bullshitty chatty columns here cause you're my people and I wanna share all the hot scoops and insider knowledge. And Barnes will come in and shit all over it for me so I can know I've really made it! So what do people want to hear about? Is there anything more interesting than anything else? I'd love to see more of a dialogue and get feedback from you dudes on what you think I'm doing wildly wrong.

PS: I'm totally buying the fuck out of ads on here when the time is right, like all proper publishers should be!

I'll leave you with a totally hacked together promo image that sets the tone, but is far from final, and the current back of the box blurb...

Pushed to the brink by pervy medieval blacksmiths and sweaty basement dwellers alike, killing monsters is the easy part, for now the Glamazons must face their most difficult challenge... finding female armor that is actually functional! Help our intrepid heroes smash, bash and crash through goblin heads, dragon hearts and the male gaze alike, then stare each other down in a battle of wills for who gets the spoils!
All's fair in love, war and fashion... and these girls would KILL for a new wardrobe!

A campy card game take down of the visual depiction of female warriors throughout nerdy pop culture, Glamazons vs The Curse of the Chainmail Bikini features amazing original artwork from world renowned pinup artist Joe Capobianco along with it's social commentary so you can have your (cheese)cake and eat it too!
The goal of Glamazons is to be the first to collect a full set of proper armor for yourself and fully dress your paperdoll-like character sheet. Crafted from the corpses of the iconic monsters you've killed, each piece of armor in the game is unique and thematically tied to the creature it's made of. These pieces of armor are physically represented by reusable vinyl stickers which you'll get to play dress up with as you collect more and more! Each monster only has enough raw materials to make a single piece of armor though and you'll have to figure out which of your "best friends" gets credit for the kill and thus the sweet sweet crafting supplies contained within.

Gameplay features a boiled down pure bluffing mechanic that puts the focus squarely on social interaction. The tension of second guessing your triple guess while you stare across the table looking for the slightest twitch that might betray a lie is the heart that beats strong within this game. You have no one to blame but yourself if you end up stuck picking out glitter wedgies while the winner gets to go adventure in fabulous, yet practical style!
