I think the Alpha and Omega abilities as used are pretty neat - it's another way to reel in the power of cards without attaching chains to the player. For example, there's an untamed common that gives all of your units the ability to enter play ready, but it has Omega so you can't do anything else that turn once you play it, giving your opponent one turn to prevent you from utilizing such a powerful ability.

Played some KEYFORGE yesterday with a
new deck
. It is juuuuiced compared to my previous one. Like an order of magnitude. Dis, Mars, Sanctum.
Master of 3, Hand of Dis, Ammonia Clouds or Orbital Bombardment into Mass Abduction, Bulwark ready to protect two Champions (Anaphiel and Tabris), with some Shoulder Armor to go with it. Plus the Æmber just rains from the skies: Virtuous Works, Dust Imp, Soul Snatcher, &c.
I feel like a 13yo driving a Ferrari.

I was at the FFG Event Center on Wednesday night for my weekly Jyhad group. In the same large room, there were several tables set aside for a Keyforge tournament. There were maybe 16 Keyforge players, compared to our 4 players. The whole Keyforge tournament was over before we finished our second game of Jyhad. Interesting contrast between the current hotness and a game that was first published 25 years ago. Hard to say which game will have more active players five years from now.
