Oh, believe me, I'm betting I'd absolutely feel I got my money's worth if you feel it's worth playing; not only because I respect your opinion but because I've been a diehard Liverpool fan for over 40 years and I love stuff like Football Manager. There's very little like it in the States because obvsly and I'm irritated that I missed it.

Well, someone has a copy up on BGG for sixty bucks which is what NobleKnight were selling for at import prices. I would recommend checking out one of the playthrough videos first though - this isn't a glory-trail game where you build a career over time with your club, it's a series of one-off scenarios in the lower leagues struggling against the odds.

I also noticed that the designer has a new game out called ' Everything Lost ', it's a map-drawing survival game with some branching story-path elements. I'm definitely going to get a copy, Thomas is a creative talent who I want to encourage.

Looks like only 10% of my game collection is in BGG's top 1000.

19457 Politika - This was a group favorite a while ago, the cutthroat nature of the game led to strained friendships and hurt feelings at times. Still doesn't make it to the table enough. I've never played Diplomacy, but I have heard of the table flipping craziness that comes from it, and this game ranks up there with me.

19443 Warriors - Filler Risk card game in 3 rounds. Played it constantly years ago. Now, gathering dust.

19310 Hidden Conflict - An underrated gem. Sure, the rule book that came with the game sucked ass, but the revised one more than made up for it. Tactical battlestack conflict with different races. The most dangerous were the vampires and humans, in my opinion.

18501 FaceEater - Gin Rummy meets Day of the Dead and a healthy dose of fuck you cards added to it. This one comes out every other group game day.

18458 The Target - Another underrated game of deception and double cross. I have to thank Steve Avery for introducing me to this. It's fun and somewhat maddening to play. Sometimes when we play, it gets downright comical when your own team decides to shoot/stab/blow you up when you're the target. "WE'RE ON THE SAME SIDE!" Response: "WE WANT TO DO A MURDER!"

18298 Princess Ryan's Space Marines - Another game held back by a shitty rule book. However, every naysayer about this game who's played it with me has come away with, "I've got to get this game! We were playing it all wrong!"

18253 Car Wars: The Card Game - A filler card game when you don't have time, or table space, for the real thing (speaking of which, I need to go through my KS SJG pledge and pull this out for my group to play). It's no longer in my possession, as when I went to trade it, The Boy asked if he could have it (he apparently really liked it) and it's now his.

18019 MiniMonFa - a filler dungeoncrawl game with cartoony artwork and, yet again, a shitty rule book. Played a lot of this with co-workers during lunch.

17021 Murder City - a really good game for you to work on your improv skills. You're a cop tasked with investigating murders. Problem is, you have to have the right evidence to match, so you will have to bluff at times. Another player audits your case and decides to let it through, challenge it, or endorse it. Some of the reviews on the Geek don't do the game justice, and it was the only one on the list to inspire me to write a novella about a session of it.

16959 Risky Strategy - a Presidential trivia game that mirrors the electoral process. Came out in 1992, and now the electoral votes on some of the states are wrong, but still a solid game to play and in my opinion, quite educational.

Dino Dunk is 10,324.

I'm part of the problem seeing as I haven't rated it. But I don't know if I've rated any games in the last 5 years.

17576 Farkle

The lowest ranked one that I really love. It's a simple push your luck dice game. My wife and I have played this so so much, typically while drinking drinks on the porch during the summer.

That's a fair point. I stopped using BGG as anything but a trade mechanism years ago, so I also haven't contributed on a lot of things.

EDIT: And, putting my Geekgold where my mouth is, I went and rated all of the games I currently own that aren't for trade. Didn't do the expansions, though.

10529 Tangoes (1980) 6 Feb 2009*
9703 Kriegbot (2008) 7.8 Jun 2009*
9337 Zimby Mojo (2016) N/A
3310 The Settlers of Zarahemla (2003) N/A
3309 Cosmic Eidex (1998) N/A
3202 Rage (1983) 6.8 Jan 2008*
3046 Thunder Road (1986) 7 Jan 2018
1937 The Battle for Hill 218 (2007) 7 Mar 2009*
1582 Once Upon a Time: The Storytelling Card Game (1993) 6.5 Oct 2006*
1387 Set
I left Kriegbot on the table of Dan Thurot at a game sale because I wanted him to check it out, then forgot about it, and he has had it for about five years because I haven't stopped by to pick it up. I've played it twice and it's a pretty cool vehicle combat game.

It would be great to play Zimby Mojo again. I only have Cosmic Eidex because a BGG geekbuddy swears it is the best thing in the world and I really only have three gamers in my house. The kids will play Thunder Road, and by "kids" I mean four children ages 16, 19, 20 and 26. The family will play Settlers of Zarahemla once in a while. My oldest son used to ask to play Once Upon a Time but we haven't brought it out in years and he lives in a rented house with his band in a neighboring city. My wife likes SET and so we take it camping. I don't have the brain for it. I'm pretty sure that Rat-a-Tat Cat should be on that list somewhere too. When my wife wants to play something simple and interactive.
