Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.
Our weekly games night has been running for many, many years now and even though the day of the week has changed over the years and we've had one person leave while another one joined, at its core, it's become something of an institution. It's something I always look forward to, because it's time I can spend with friends, talking about what they have been up to and immersing myself in the game, or games, we play that evening. It's a way for me to get away from the day-to-day and allow my mind to focus on something else for a while.
I do feel that the simultaneity of Tabletopia adds something but I usually end up on BGA because it's just easier. It's frustrating not knowing what other players are doing on their turn (reading the log feed is a bit of a drag). Thanks for the good read
Before the pandemic, I only had one regular game night group, plus I occasionally hosted themed gaming days. That regular group may not regroup after the pandemic, because the hosts got married several months before the pandemic and then had a kid last summer. I think the kid recently turned 1, so probably still quite the handful for them.
I was thinking about starting my own monthly board game night, but a couple of new friends that I made in 2019 have expressed interest in playing Call of Cthulhu.
