Data: “Captain, this is a game about building tea gardens in the Yunnan region of China. You are building a deck of cards by acquiring higher power cards as you progress. I'm not sure the reference is apt.”

As I said, it looks cool and I love the theme and with all those gears turning it seems like there should be possibilities to do something interesting. But, in the end, it's multiplayer solitaire and very combo-riffic, which is just not my thing at all. Maybe I should bug the Alehouse group and see if someone has a copy, but I was recoiling about two rounds into Before You Play's playthrough, so I'm not sure that's a wise step.

Knowing what you normally like, I would not recommend this one for you BUT I would love to play a game of it with you to watch how you cull and approach it in general.
