Psycho Raiders is a hex and counter horror simulation game....

Psycho Raiders is the first Horrorgame in the magazine game series titled Halloween Nightmares.  Each game is horror in nature and takes place on Halloween.

The first game Psycho Raiders takes place in 1978.  3 campers are pursued by a band of black clad men in gas masks.

I just got a message that Psycho Raiders is available is limited qualities, if anyone is interested in getting a copy before they are gone.

I've enjoyed my copy of Psycho Raiders, and it's seen table time on three occasions.
IMO, it's just a little too dense with the amount of options available. I think it could have been streamlined just a bit.
Still, I was impressed enough to buy Freakface! I gave it the look over after it delivered, but boy oh boy. I just don't know about this one.
Has any FAT:tie played Freakface?!

Freakface is a fun time. We prefer Psycho Raiders, but there's definite system improvements in Freakface (such as the Look tokens and the lovely DIE-O-RAMAs). I mentioned this in the buying thread - but my primary complaint with Freakface is the dark and mudled map. You can't make out the walls easily and it's a huge pain in the ass.

I have played several games of Psycho Raiders, and it has played out differently every time. Although there is an official soundtrack at the website, I made my own 2-disc soundtrack and the players love it. Because the game takes place on a very specific date in the late '70s, I restricted myself to popular music that charted before that date, and mostly from the same or previous year. When I get a chance, I will post that soundtrack here.
