Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.
It Came From the Tabletop! - Cowboy Bebop and Jaws
This week Josh and Al talk about Cowboy Bebop: Board Game Boogie, what makes it unique and how it compares to Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the previous Jasco/Lynnvander Studios game. Then they set out for Amity Island to play Jaws from Ravensburger and Prospero Hall. You already know what sized boat you're gonna need.
See you space cowboy...

I’d move out but the autumn here is stellar.

I used to live in Middlebury.
Your discussion at the end regarding these being good games at an inexpensive price was the best part of the podcast as far as I'm concerned, and a very marketable space. Given the price of games these days I think there's plenty of room underneath for good games with good art. You may not get stunner sculpts, but things like the box liner being the same as the mayor's suit has more impact for a lot of mainstream gamers. Given the Target exclusive to kick the game off I think there's money to be made in that kind of detail.
I'd be curious to know which is more profitable -- the $100 kickstarter that raises $450,000 or a game like Jaws that gets dropped in every Target store in the U.S. About 2,000 stores, so you'd need to sell about 8 copies per store to get the same revenue retail, double that wholesale.

Hellapagos
Hoax (well, I know it's not been getting huge talk, but, it's cheap as anything)
The Prospero Hall stuff.
Mystery Wizard
Lazer Ryderz
I'm a second hand buyer these days for the most part, so anything I pick up is generally at or below the pricepoint for these, as new ones. I'm tempted by all of them.
