Welcome back Oz!

2 spaces left. What are you all waiting for? A microbadge?

Maybe I'll get off my lazy ass and read the rules. I've never played and I just don't know if I'll enjoy playing it my first time if it isn't face to face.

Do it man! Game's great great great. Tight little package that's a nice knife fight in a telephone booth (at least when played with Fatties).

That's how I played my first two games, wdgrant. It's a lot of fun. The cube tower can totally fuck you up. Greedy thing holds onto my guys like a starving man hold bread. Note: Starving--also popular in this game.

There's a nice mix of formal planning with the "revealed" turn actions and please-God-let-Troop-Movement-come-before-Battle hoping in the hidden actions. (10 actions happen per turn in random order, but only the first 5 are revealed when you have to commit to which territories do which action).

The game is awesomely implemented at SbW too. Achtung! Loginerzeit unt spielergung mit FATties!

No problem, if you don't know the game yet. Keep pushing buttons and see what happens. Also you can leave me alone during the game, I am totally harmless. Oz on the other hand is the devil in disguise!

Reading the rules will be helpful. The first game can be confusing nonetheless. For the beginning, when we choose our countries, keep in mind: Have at least one country with lots of grain (a country can have a max of 5) and if possible at least 2 countries with a lot of gold (a country can have a max of 7).

And keep an eye on oz...

The Devil?!?

I am none of the sort! I am a Church loving soul...I espicially love it when your people build me a Church ;)

It is easy to play really...it is the deciding that is hard. Lots of questions during the set up is a good idea to stay on track.
And don't fuss about Schlupp...he will be busy building stuff for my people.

I downloaded the rules to read at work today. I'll go through them and hopefully join tonight.

The game begins and Schlupp leaves town! ;) I love an early retreat.

Now though would be a very good time for the new to Wally to ask questions.

There is no shame in a tactical retreat! So, I am on holiday for the next 2 weeks, but I'll check the game every day, if possible. It's going to be a slow game anyway with players from the US, Belgium and Australia.

wdgrant, tag, you're it.

I read the rules and feel pretty comfortable with them. Interface and strategy are now my two biggest foes. I'll get on and make my poorly planned move at home, since I cannot here at work.

ACHTUNG! Das WALLENSTEIN spiel mit FATties wast verrgut! Herr ozjesting ("Von Dickk") ist eine weiner!

wdgrant and Doc Mabuse should be applauded for playing their first game and taking savage savage cockpunchings. Seriously, it looks like they have been packing their jocks with ground beef.

There's a NEW game for all FATties, please join us: Turm des Todes
password is eugene

If you LOST this WALLENSTEIN, take your punishment and play REEF ENCOUNTER like a loser . Same password.

I'm definitely in for another Wallenstein. The peasants will tremble before me!

Is Reef Encounter good? Maybe I'll try it.
