I need you to email me the 1.1 version of the vassal module as only the 1.21 version is available on the vassal site. As we learned from our Successors game, mismatched modules can create some serious board weirdness.

Ed Beach has posted the Two Player Rules on his website.
I'm down for a game whenever. The big upside of this is that a complete game should go much quicker and smoother. The full 6 player PBEM games really tend to drag and get a lot of board state mismatches with all the files flying back and forth.

Good news for PBEM-ers...

Let me know if you want to fire one up. I'd be happy to give it a shot...

Dogmatix won as the Hapsburgs at the end of Turn 4. I put the whole thing into a blog: Game 3 AAR
Time to start recruiting for Game 4, I guess. I'm in. I'd like to try to keep the pace up a bit this time, this past one had some big gaps in play. Of course, Matt did become a father along the way, so I guess we can forgive that particular outage.
Since this one ended right on the cusp of the 1532 scenario, I'm wondering if there's any interest in running a game of that to see the later events come into play? If not, I'd be happy to play 1517 again.

(1517 only though.)

I won't fight you for the opportunity to play the Pope.
(edit: I don't mind playing 1517 again, I just brought up 1532 to gauge interest. If we do 1517 then it's "bags not England" for me is all.)
Thanks for holding hands through the early turns on that game, Will. It was much appreciated.

I'm still not sure about how to handle negotiations and what I should have been trying to get or offer. It was great having bulwyf as a moderator though, as I was able to bounce some questions off of him. (THANKS, WILL!)
I would recommend trying to get another mod if he wants in some gaming action or chooses to pass on modding.
Dr_Mabuse (sulkingly): Oh yeah and congrats dogmatix.

Oh and you're welcome to all the players of the last game. HIS is one of my favorite games so anything I can do to get more preople playing is a pleasure.

I would like to try France or Ottos. I almost ALWAYS play religious powers so would like to avoid that.
Whereas I normally prefer to play religious powers while the war powers give me a headache [England is the worst for me--a guaranteed ass-kicking]. I'd take the Prots to Simon's Papacy
