5 and a half hours until deadline!

I had submitted orders but they seem to have disappeared. Not sure what happened there... Anyway, I've resubmitted.

Also, I'm sorry to announce that I'm going to be away with little or no net access from 11-26 OCT in Italy. Sorry for the late notice, but I wasn't sure if this really was going to be a 2-week trip [due to my wife's work travel requirements and our finances with the attrocious $-Euro exchange rate--$1.53/E if you're buying them from a US bank...] until this week.

I don't mind you just surrendering to the fine French commanders.

We're going to need to take a two week recess as Dogmatix is going to Italy. I'll suspend the game now and resume it again in 2 weeks.

Ok, just make sure you post a couple time when you wake it back. I might forget.

As I mentioned in the press, if you wanted to run it to the monday deadline for at least the next seasonal turn before hitting the suspend button, I've got orders already submitted [and can email them directly to you too if you want].

I'm back, but have suffered a catastrophic windows failure on my primary PC while away. I have no idea what my friggin' sister in law (house/cat-sitter) did to this machine in our absence but it's all kinds of fucked. [Got it to boot into safe-mode once to try a system restore to a few weeks ago prior to our departure and now it's beyond fucked. BSOD with changing error messages on even a safe-mode boot. Hardware tests say all is working as it should, so hopefully it's just the windows install that's fucked and I can actually get my data off this fucking drive once I get a new install running.]

I'll be back on the grid on all PBEM games tonight after a fresh windows install on a new hard drive and (hopefully) a day full of data recovery activities...

Well, let us know when we're go. I've kind of drifted off again without e-mail alerts, but thread updates here should help keep me on track
