I want to PBEM something, anything. I only have 1 PBEM going. Look at my collection at BGG.

Or we can play something in your collection if the rules are online. Wargames probably but it doesn't have to be that I'd *love* to get some use out of my copies of some AT games (Game of Thrones, BSG, Starcraft, anything). 2 player or multiple player. While I'd love to play HIS but it's just really hard to wrangle together 6 quick players checking their e-mails. Dogmatix, you still interested in VASSALing Up Front? I still only know the basics of the game.

Bottom line is that for PBEM to be fun everyone has to play one turn a day and not forget about the game. If you can do that and want to play PBEM, PLEASE post here and PM me and we can set up a game. I try to only have 1 or 2 games going on at once so I can devote proper attention to my games so I will play a turn a day save for busy weekends camping or something like that.

I'd also be up for playing some AT on one of the online services--I'd love to put together a Cosmic Encounter live play night with some F:ATers on the online Cosmic site. I've never played the game before but am itching.

I had a look at your wishlist and your games list. Dungeonquest is on the former and that plays pretty well PBEM. I own a copy if you feel bad about the copyright. Let me know if you want a game.

There's an online site for playing Cosmic Encounter? I'll be damned.

Sorry, I will be on-topic now. I have been wanting to play We the People or Wilderness War...both are ACTS and Cyberboard friendly (and I have played both before, I didn't make that clear initially). I haven't done Hannibal: Rome v Carthage in this format, only face-to-face, but I'd give that a shot.

Warriors of God would also be a possibility, but I'd have to scan the rules since there is still no PDF version that I'm aware of. Grrr.

EDIT: clarification

I'd play either of those if they have online rules, I've never played WW or WTP.

Didn't know you had to pay to get decent aliens with Cosmic, nevermind then.

Also, Dungeonquest sounds very sweet. I'd be up for a game of that, though I've never played before.

Looks like my PBEM docket could be filling up. Nice.

Cosmic Encounter Online is totally worth it. You don't need a ridiculous subscription - you can pay 99 cents for 12 hours of play with all the aliens available. Yeah it sucks that you have to pay, but if you can set aside a few hours and round up some buddies, it's totally worth it. Each game only takes about 20-40 minutes, so you could easily have a blast of an evening for 10-25 cents per play. As a kid I'd spend a quarter for about 2 minutes of play on most arcade games.

You could even try the free version at first, to see if you like it - the base 8 aliens are fine for a game or two. After that, yeah, you need more.

(No, I don't work for Peter Olotka.)
