Dominions 3 PBEM?

I haven't touched this in a long time, but I've been hankering lately for a mulitplayer game of Dominions 3. Anyone else out there have/play it? For those who don't know what it is, see here .

Never heard of it, but downloading the demo.

Unbelievably (well, in my limited video game knowledge these days) you can't buy this in the UK - not even on eBay.

Are you looking at a custom/private PBEM game or just joining the masses ?

Oh, totally custom. That's the only way the game works. This is a super-dense strategy game with an obtuse interface, but extremely deep and rewarding once you grok it. You used to have to email the turns individually, but now I think there are some player-run automated servers that do the dirty work for you.

It's pretty much impossible to find it at a reduced price -- the publisher is still milking their hardcore niche market by keeping the price at $55 FOUR YEARS after the game was first released.
