Hmmm....what a shame, no GM, no game! I know how to play for sure, but, I'm certainly not prepared to GM a PBEM Gunslinger game. Looks like no one else is either. Bummer.

We have a game master! For those still interested in playing a game of Gunslinger by email, I have contacted Ruben Rigillo and he has offered to run (GM) the game for us.
If you have not participated in a PBEM game of Gunslinger before, it is pretty simple. For each turn you send your 5 segments worth of actions to the GM. You can specify, if some of your actions have choices, which of your choices might be dependant on the actions of the other characters.
The GM resolves all game events and creates an “End of Turn” text file, to create a record of what he has done. He also creates an image file of the current map with each character's position and condition. He draws all necessary cards using the PBEM Card Draw Utility and emails the results to each player simultaneously. He makes all necessary adjustments to the characters, the mapboard, the Legend Sheet, etc. He shuffles the Result Cards when requested. He performs the “end of turn” tasks (removing delay points, etc.) and the “start of turn” tasks (drawing fatigue cards for Serious wounds, etc.) for the next turn.
To minimize the number of email exchanges, a player sends all of his actions for the turn in 1 email. Options chosen should be specified in the email, segment by segment.
This places a player at a disadvantage, compared with Face-To-Face play, because
he does not know, when he specifies his options, what other players have done in prior segments. To compensate, a player may specify his options conditionally and in the alternative.
If you are "in", let me know in a private email with your regular email address so Ruben knows
where to send your emails. I'll pass your email on to him and he can then send you an email. You will then know where to send your chosen actions when the game starts.
There is space for three more players. I will accept the first three. If there are more, it is likely there will be more games. I have played several PBEM game of Gunslinger. I hope to gain enough experience so I can GM a game myself.
Sincerely,
David
