OSE vs. 5E for newbs and kids

Yeah I think I am going to run one of the 5e remakes with 5TD...as much as I love OSE, deconverting the new material down to B/X isn’t high on my list of priorities. Some kids in our “bubble” are coming over this weekend and they are D&D curious so I might put them into Tamaochan or something for funsies. The only conversion is the base 11 DC, wiping the skills, and halting monster HP. I’m thinking that there may be something of an issue with the treasure in the 5e updates though because they are not written with gold as XP in mind.

And I have to get a 5e Monster Manual it looks like.
