So I recently fired up Evil Genius, to make some progress on a game I started more than a year ago. My operation is running very smoothly, as I learned some valuable lessons in my abortive first attempt at the game. However, there is an objective on my checklist that I can't seem to clear... involving "persuading" Russian crimelord Nikita Leonov to join my organization.
You see, I think that I accidentally killed him.
As I think about it, I vaguely recall from my sessions in late 2007 that there was this dude with a giant black fur hat and red garb running around my secret HQ, acting all wacky. And while I knew that he was an important "guest," I think that I might have slapped a kill tag on him during a frantic assault by agents of H.A.M.M.E.R. But I apparently can't move on to the next phase of the game until I have gathered all six crimelords and forced them to my will.
Should I just start over? I don't wanna... my current base layout is really nice, and my minions are generally fairly healthy, productive and happy. But I've checked my saved games, and I don't have one that goes back to before Nikita disappeared.
