Good point. When TvC came out I was still into flipping arcade cabinets and attending tournaments/lan parties. I used an awesome adapter a guy in Australia makes to put a Wii into a Neo Geo Big Red and learned the hard way why Batsu was broken. I still fire it up from time to time, nothing is quite as full filling in a fighter than pulling off one of Golden Lightons crazy combos. It feels like you are playing a boss character..

Wiimode has all the abilities of the Wii, including the VC store. Go kill some Zombies in early 1990s style.

If it's available, get the Megadrive version of Zombies ate my Neighbours over the SNES one. Same game, but the Megadrive version is uncensored and adds the radar on a sidebar thanks to the higher resolution, which means you don't have to constnatly click start to check the map.

Sadly, only the SNES version is on there. Unless you opt to homebrew and setup retroarch or gens

Looks like the SNES version holds up admirably.

If you are good at remembering maps, you wont have any problems. I own both versions, and play the SNES one more often because it has my preferred control scheme.

Just bought a wii u mario maker edition at wal mart. I'm not proud but 1st party games were enough for the exorbitant price... part of me wishes I had waited for the price drop like I told myself I would, but oh well.

Really psyched to play mario maker. The wii u pad is kind of a chinsy piece of shit controller, hard to believe since it is the center of the system's novelty... I need to get a classic gamepad ASAP.

I'm trying not to harp on this but now that I've been playing a bit I am flabbergasted about what a piece of garbage the controller is. Touchscreen is a poor touchscreen, it is very uncomfortable, and the buttons are vague and feel floaty. Nintendo can almost always be counted on in the plastic controller department... the wiimotes had their problems but one of them was not build quality.

I don't mind the controller as it's easy for my 5 year old daughter to use. We do have a Pro Controller as well though. My biggest complaint is that I'm cleaning it often, as kids seem to sneeze all over the screen...

Speaking of kids, Smash Brothers will be arriving today. Anyone know if you can set items to high, and only pokeballs? I recall doing this in an earlier edition of the game, and I'm sure my son would enjoy it.

Yep, fullblown Item Switch in the WiiU version. Frequency and selection. This game is the real deal.
