We inherited a used 3ds from a cousin. No manual or what not. Anyone know how to reset to the faculty settings so we can create new passwords, wifi, etc?

This looks fantastic and I'd like to download it:

It's just in the settings menu. Mine is charging right now, but it is definitely there. In the storage settings I believe.

Yes, in the settings there is a "reset system" or something to that effect. But be aware, if the previous owner had downloaded software on it and you register it with a new user...all that is gone.

3DS is just an amazing system with lots of great, long-lasting titles on it. I just bought Fire Emblem Birthright, if you like turn-based games at all it (or the earlier FE: Awakening) are must-play games.

For you, Jeff White, I could not possibly recommend the Sega 3D Classics games enough. They are just amazing, every one of them. The top class ones would be Out Run, After Burner II, Super Hang-On and Gunstar Heroes. But Galaxy Force II, Fantasy Zone, Streets of Rage 2, Shinobi III and all of the others are worth having too. I _think_ there is a physical retail collection coming out, but I'm not sure it's US. But all of them are on the eShop for like $5 a piece. The degree of love and care that went into these is astonishing.

And Shovel Knight. You are going to want Shovel Knight. It is the best SNES game made in 2014.

I'm going to go get mine right now to play Fire Emblem.

Thanks, fellas, I'll look for the setting.

Is the 3ds shovel knight the same as the wii u one?

Yeah, SHOVEL KNIGHT is the same game. Doesn't have online PvP though.

The MARIO 3D LAND game on there is sick as hell. Crazy good.

Terraria is on 3DS now too, and it's fantastic. Has multiplayer also.
