I just got a Kindle Fire HD, and I want to get a couple of QUALITY games for it. I don't care if they aren't free. Things I would like:
1. a good turn based strategy game like Heroes of Might and Magic III or XCOM
2. a proper RPG
3. good board game adaptations
The app store is so overloaded, it's impossible to find anything you aren't specifically looking for. Thanks!

The Room series are great mystery puzzle games.
Pacific Fleet, and moreso Atlantic Fleet for great turn based naval battles.
Blood Bowl is on Android.
Templar Assault is basically Space Hulk
Elder Sign
Galaxy Trucker
Battlelore
WH40K Space Wolf
Le Havre (Inland port I think)
Brass
Steam
Castles of Mad King Ludwig
Suburbia
Neuroshima Hex
Star Realms is the one game that stays on my phone while all others come and go- Ascension is great, but large file size.

Thanks. Many of those are not on the kindle store. But I found enough to occupy me for a while.

I'm sorry, but there's no way anyone can play all their PC games on a mobile phone.
Play Hearthstone. Start now, so you're past all the tutorials by the time they start handing out free content for the next expansion.
I don't play much apart from Hearthstone but of late I have been surprised to find that Potion Explosion and Jaipur have both cemented a place on my phone. The former is super fast and has a very challenging AI that's good to play against and the latter has a varied campaign game.

You can install GooglePlay on your Fire. I have done this for everyone I know. The instructions are
HERE
.
I do recommend that you uninstall it before contacting customer support though.
My recommends:
Hoplite (Puzzley, Fighty)
Flow Free (Puzzle, Makes you feel smart)
Small World has a great App
Card Thief
Can Knockdown 3

I bought Eight Minute Empire a while back, and liked it.
