That looks pretty cool. Kind of like crokinole meets Dragon Dice. Pitchcar looks pretty fun to me too. Also, so does subuteo. Any body played that? You Brits?
Subbuteo is the one dextereity game I,ve promised myself to get into once I finish my downstairs basement/office. This one looks kibda cool-- I'm gonna go google it.
I've been on the edge of buying this for about three months now. The reprint just came out. Here is a 10 minute video review if you want to see the basics --

I used to play Subbuteo many years ago. My old man ran a soccer (footy) store in California, and stocked it as sort of an afterthought/gift thing. It's fun, but make sure you've got a lot of space. The pitches are huge (like Arkham+expansions huge) , and if you're older than about 12 you don't want to try playing on the floor.
I heard there were some changes between the older editions and the newer ones, so maybe do some homework. It's definitely worth checking it out. I had a blast with it in the 80s.
Also, it did a lot better if you could tack/clamp/firmly attach the pitch to the table it was on. Then you don't go flying into the air on a fold, or get stuck in a ditch.
A friend of mine has it, he says it's good. I keep meaning to play it but we usually get together at larger game nights and thus don't get in too many two player games. I should really fix that next week.
Taktika looks very cool. Sort of like disk wars, except not collectible and flicking is more fun than flipping in my opinion. A good game to have on hand in case 6 people want to play crokinole.
Yeah. If you really wanted to be a ripoff artist you could just go buy wooden discs at the craft store and probably save $15. The game is only $20 so I'll probably buy it if I ever order games again...

I saw the video too. The thing is I could imagine the game going both ways. Really cool and fun or long and drawn out as the units dimish and both people start to loose options.
I love diskwars (and Red Alert even more). Its a damn shame that I can't get anbyone around here to do anything like that.
