I am a big fan of the Virtual Console on the Wii and I just notice this game "Harvest Moon"
Is this where Hanno got his idea for Agricola???

A lot of people have compared Harvest Moon to Agricola.
I doubt it's where Hanno got the idea.

had a roommate with Harvest Moon once. It's cute, and at least back in the day was hard as hell to get in the US, as no one thought to market it to us. I remember something involving modding a console so that it could play a game zoned else where...
I don't generally like console games, but I do like the cute theme. You can't kill marines ALL the time.

Virtual Console: any excuse to review fucking old games as if they were new.
I hear there's a reprint of Acquire coming up, maybe we should have some sort of F:AT exclusive article about it. :|

Both games are kind of ressource management and about farming.
However if I could point out why Harvest Moon is fun and Agricola isn't, I would probably make a living by designing boardgames.
