Branham is the local RB guitar god. Seriously, he's like Guy Mann-Dude and Steve Vai all rolled into one.
I was curious as to how the harmonies would work, and it looks like it's going to be similar to what I expected. It was smart to just do one vocal lane and three separate lines. It'll make it easier to assign parts to proper voices.
Thinking about it, at first I thought "well, 'Eleanor Rigby' is right out since it doesn't have standard rock instrumentation". But three people could still sing it so it's not like suddenly a solo game. So everybody can sing along. Like the one and only Billy Shears.
I'm actually a little disappointed that the first trailer, with all that incredible animated stuff, isn't the look of the whole game. It still looks awesome, but the style of that opening is so bad ass.
BTW- the elephant stuff is NUTS. It's like WARMACHINE HORDES meets YELLOW SUBMARINE.

I play Expert all the time if I can. There are songs I can't finish on Expert, the highest level stuff (like I can't play Jordan on Expert from GH II), but for the most part it's all Expert, all the time, baby.
Drums? Shit. That's a whole 'nother story. Medium. Maybe.

GH and RB have both been making their games compatible with the other games' instruments of late, so I imagine that will continue.
And as long as we're strutting - Hard/Expert guitar, Medium drums, Hard/Expert vocals

Save all your star power until the solo starts up, hold on as long as you possibly can during the usual Buckethead bullshit part. You know the part I mean. If you get most of the way through it and then hit star power, you should be able to cruise through the rest of the solo and get all the way through the song. You'll even get 4 stars. I did, and I suck.

I'm just psyched about the 12 Maiden tracks coming out next week, that's way more immediate than the Beatles.
I play mainly drums, and Expert on most tracks. Some harder tracks I can beat with the rest of the band's help. I don't expect any difficulty on Expert with any Beatles song.
I should go back to RB1 with the new drum set and try those songs I had a hard time with on Expert (ending of Don't Fear, RTTH, Won't get fooled again, Next to you).

You didn't rip all (but three of) the songs off the RB1 disc so you can play them in RB2? I'm too lazy and impatient to change discs - though I do miss Enter Sandman.

Figures. I missed the other two songs more. Even though the Paranoid cover was not the greatest of the covers.
My worst complaint about the Iron Maiden stuff is that Hallowed Be Thy Name is a live track. (And it is a terrible live version.) But the live version of Fear of the Dark is GREAT.
