Best Man to Man game? was created by Stephen Avery
I am partial to man to man fighting games. I love gladiator, and Epic Duels (for different reasons) and have a whole slew of other games involving sigular combat.
Does any one have good reccomendations?
Has anyone tried Red Sand, Blue Sky? that one seems to be highly reccomended.

I was actually really impressed with the depth of the
UFS CCG
. You can chain together some pretty cool maneuvers and if any of the themes represented are interesting, well all the better.

Do you mean games about melee combat or games with playing pieces depicting individual men?
In the latter case I can recommend: Gunslinger, Trenchfoot (WWI trench warfare), Soldiers (by WEG) or any game of the Sniper series (but only the 2nd edition by TSR; especially Hetzer).

An early issue of the Dragon, somewhere around issue #30 or so, contained a game insert called Ringside. It was a decent simulation of professional boxing. Easy to learn but somewhat tactical and very much about faking out your opponent. Otherwise, there was an early edition of GURPS called Man-to-Man that was good for arena combats.
