There Will Be Games

 In Shadow of the Bat, 1-4 players will take to the streets as Batman, Batgirl, Robin, Commissioner Gordon, and Catwoman as they work together to save Gothem City.

Each hero has their own unique character abilities, skills, and custom dice. They’ll have to work together in order to take down the likes of Two-Face, The Penguin, Mr. Freeze, The Riddler, Scarecrow, Man-Bat, The Joker, and Harley Quinn.

As with other AUGS games, villains can be controlled by the game itself for full co-op play, or by a 5th player. AUGS’ modularity means that players can even create their own dream scenarios and teams, including bringing in elements from other AUGS products.

That was fast. Didn’t the Kickstarter just end?

Is AUGS the TMNT engine? I've heard that one was very good; have they done others too,?

The street date is October. I don't recall when the KS ended, so I don't know how "fast" that is, bit I recall that it did have an estimated delivery date of Fall 2020.

Yes, the AUGS (Adventures Universal Game System )is the TMNT and the Batman games.

Did you get a decimal place wrong with that price, or just use a random number generator :S ?

Edit:
OK, had a look at the KS page and it's a box full of plastic and some rules, probably why I must have given it a once over and passed on it.
I had the TMNT game and that was well done except there weren't enough scenarios and it always felt like the Overlord player was missing out on the new mechanics a bit.

@Southernman

I had the same reaction to the price. They have another Batman one coming out at the same time for the same price, I just haven't put the announcement up yet. I thought one must be the base game and the other was an expansion and their was a typo on one of the prices. But nope, they are both $125. I guess it is like the Warhammer stuff where they have big box "expansions" for $100+. I'm not into Tabletop mini games, but I guess they are all pretty pricey.
