Every year I scour the Essen reports for new and interesting games.
Several games we have already been anticipating and talking about for weeks, months, and in some cases years.
Here are a few others that have caught my eye, that we haven't heard much about, that might be of interest to F:ATies. Information on these is rather meager, so if you have had a chance to play them or have additional information, please share.
Escape from the Aliens in Outer Space
- Review By Matt Drake
- Chapel says: Has elements of Kingsburg and Roll Through the Ages, and a whole bunch of other shit, that all works together really well...Overall a cool gaming experience. (read more below)
- MooFrank says: It is at least a rather good Euro, and has both a simplicity and clarity of rules, enough screwage, and enough randomness to make it of interest to the Euro-tolerant among us. (read more below)
Grimoire (and pretty much anything published by Japon Brand always looks interesting to me)
Mars is Ours
- Shapeshifter says: It was the most fun game of all the games we played at the fair, and we played some fantastic games. (read more below)
- Shapeshidter says: They should have called the game Intergalactic Bumper cars. (read more below)
51st State
- A post-apocalyptic cardgame from the people behind Neuroshima Hex.
