EPIC PvP: Fantasy Announced by AEG

Fun to 11 LLC and Alderac Entertainment Group Inc. (AEG), both publishers of fun and unique games, today announce that they have entered into a strategic partnership for Fun to 11’s new game EPIC PvP. 

EPIC PvP is a fast, fun and unique card game. The concept is simple; take a class deck and shuffle it into a race deck to get a character deck. Players use those decks and the combos created by the unique pairing to battle each other.  

The companies will partner to run an exciting Kickstarter campaign launching January 21st. After the Kickstarter backers get their rewards, AEG will publish and distribute Epic PvP: Fantasy to retailers later this year through AEG’s distribution partners.

“AEG makes great games and they have a fantastic relationship with the retail market.  It makes sense for Fun to 11 to partner with a company who could handle that side of distribution without disrupting our desire to focus on making fun, quality games and delivering them to our customers, ” says Luke Peterschmidt, CEO of Fun to 11.  

John Zinser, CEO of AEG adds, “Epic PvP: Fantasy is just a fun game and when we played it we knew immediately that we wanted to be part of it.  Luke and I have been friends for over 20 years. So after playing a few times and discussing all the cool things we could do together on the game, we realized it is a perfect chance to partner -  something we have both been trying to make happen since working on L5R together long ago.”

Both companies agree that EPIC PvP: Fantasy is the right game to partner on. And by doing so, we will end up with a product that is better for players and retailers.  Retailers will get the chance to “Kick” the game with us.  More information on this option coming this week.
