I run out of storage space often, so trade/sell quite a bit and that's one that I let go of. I've been mulling over re-buying it for the past few weeks and need to pull the trigger. Very underrated and I think it would have been very popular if it had a more mass market theme and the inertia from a big company.

I've been wanting Junta: El Presidente since its release and found a copy accidentally at a local brick and mortar store for a reasonable price.
Jaipur I bought for the rare occasion that there is only one other player to show up on my weekly board game nights.

I don't play a ton of Diskwars, but I sure do like the game, and I've intended to buy the expansions for a while. In all likelihood the game is dead, which is a shame, but if FFG ends up dropping any GW products, that one seems like a prime target.

I wanna know more...

I got a copy for HotSeatGames' birthday - it's a fantastic little backstabbery game. Viva is literally one of the only games to be able to re-vamp itself into a compact, playable game while retaining almost all of the spirit of the original.

Castles of Mad King Ludwig was one I was always kind of curious about and I knew the girlfriend would dig it. It's kind of fun building a castle but nothing mind-blowing. Lay tiles and score points right? If they did a version called "Crypts of the Mad Lich Auremvorax" then I would be down with that because I can't help but think of D&D dungeon maps when I play this. Seems like a no-brainer. Placing teh torture chamber next to the oubliette scores bonus points, bitch.
Castles of Burgundy is more empty narrative tile pushing but it's got an okay 'die rolls as workers' aspect which is decent. The tiles you buy can grant extra actions or abilities which is a nice touch. I think those two things make this a slightly better game than Mad King Ludvig where all you do is fix prices. I like this one for now at least. In my limited experience with euros they seem get stale a lot faster than trashier titles do but time will tell.
7 Wonders: Duel was a straight up impulse buy (which is something I never do) but it was cheap. Meh, it's okay. This is what I call a picnic table game. It's short, you don't need a lot of table space or attention. Fuck those mini-cards though. It's too early to say but I don't think this one is very good. It's not very thinky, you don't even get any sense of accomplishment, and it's all one note even though there are three "ages". Maybe it will grow on me but it's just too far on the light side or something.

My buddy and I were both unimpressed with Duel as well. It got such great hype over at TOS, but we just found it kinda boring. I guess that's just what the kids like these days.Hex Sinister wrote: 7 Wonders: Duel was a straight up impulse buy (which is something I never do) but it was cheap. Meh, it's okay.
