Netflix Originals:
The Killing (I've heard nothing)
The Fall (I'm waiting to hear more about Gillian Anderson's role in 'American Gods'...would be interested in hearing speculation)
Network:
Person of Interest (I've heard little except heresay that things get exception around season 3)
Hannibal (I've heard a bit here, but willing to hear more)
The 100 (IGN reviews many episodes well, but know nothing more)
I'm stuck up, so I am largely suspicious of claims that network shows. Any perspective on any of these shows from this motley lot?

I watched season 1 of the Killing. Slow moving crime drama. Each 1 hour episode is about a 1 day in trying to solve the murder. Great acting. Good writing. Sucked me in for 1 seasoning but I gave it up after 1 seasoning. Kind of like True Detectives on HBO but not as good. True Detectives is binge worthy, the Killing is good but not binge worth.

The Fall - season 1 was good; season 2 less so. I found the ending unsatisfying.
Hannibal - starts strong, gets a bit slow, but is a pretty fascinating show. Great performances. Also Gillian Anderson!
You should check out Bloodline on Netflix. I suspect it might be up your alley.

Definitely agree. I've watched all of the seasons of the Killing and really enjoy it, but it can be slow. The first two seasons are the weakest. Three and four are much better.

The Fall - Agree with hotseat, but I'd say S1 was very good.
Hannibal - Slightly disagree with hotseat. S1 was the weakest, to me. It was very much "Monster of the Week" (except substitute serial killer), but that groundwork was kind of necessary for what was built in the next two seasons. The art direction and acting were fantastic and once you got sucked in, you didn't even care how crazy it got. I loved this show.

I've watched the first season of The 100. It's totally a CW genre show, so if you've seen The Flash or Arrow, you know what you're in for here. The actors are uniformly beautiful / handsome. The sci-fi world-building is second to melodramatic relationship drama. The 100 is about a group of young adults who end up stranded on a post-apocalyptic earth, and they spend way more time worrying about who's fucking whom, then they do about securing fresh water sources or figuring out where their next meal is coming from.
It's also an HUGE rip-off of Lost. You can easily map over characters from Lost. That girl's Jack, that guy's Sawyer, etc. They even have their version of the Others and the smoke monster. And Desmond is in it, so that's cool (minus the accent though).
That being said ... it manages to be entertaining. The visuals and special effects are pretty good. I've also heard the second season is a lot better in regards to the world-building and the story, but I haven't mustered up any enthusiasm to watch any further.
