Wacky Races Board Game
CMON Limited is off to the wild-world of cartoon racing with their upcoming release of Wacky Races, in partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products, based on Warner Bros.’ popular Hanna-Barbera cartoon. Recreate the crazy, fun, and yes... wacky races from the adventurous 60s animated series.
Wacky Races puts players in the “driver’s seat” with control of their favorite drivers from the cartoon series, including The Slag Brothers, The Gruesome Twosome, Penelope Pitstop, Peter Perfect, and more, each with their own car equipped with special abilities. They’ll compete against each other—and the game-controlled, mustachioed Dick Dastardly and his wheezy pup Muttley. Each racer is depicted with amazing art from the Warner Bros. archives and CMON’s artist Giovanna Guimarães and beautifully sculpted miniatures.
Designed by Andrea Chiarvesio and Fabio Tola, races are simple, yet strategic, as players place cards down indicating the terrain tiles their racer will move to, with the last card played indicating where Dastardly and Muttley will end up. However, it wouldn’t be wacky without a little trouble standing in the way. Racers will need to dodge or negate traps set by Dastardly as he attempts to stay ahead of the pack. Racers can choose between single races lasting 10-15 minutes or the Championship mode, offering unique rulesets changing from race-to-race before a winner is named.
CMON’s Creative Director, David Preti, is a long-time fan of Wacky Races. “I was overjoyed when Warner Bros. trusted us to bring this incredible franchise to the tabletop. For us, it was key to make a game that represented Wacky Races with all its adventures, incredible miniatures, art, and simple rules welcoming to fans of the series and tabletop gamers alike.”
Wacky Races’ easy-to-learn rules will be a sure hit with families or any gaming group looking for some light-hearted, competitive fun. The board game will be available in early 2019 in both a regular and deluxe edition. The deluxe edition will come with pre-painted miniatures, while the regular edition will include one-color miniatures.

I think I was a Slag Brothers and Ant Hill Mob supporter until I was old enough to 100% support Dick Dastardly & Muttley.
Just looked on Wikipedia and there's a breakdown of the placings each car got over all the races - Brilliant !
My niece was watching this on some cartoon channel last week. Granted, I used to have them watch H.R. Puffinstuf DVDs instead of Barney, just because I wanted that weird exchange in preschool about their favourite show.ChristopherMD wrote: "Who?"

We had our daughter hooked on old Bugaloos videos when she was little.
The minis were awesome, particularly if you paint them. But I'm sad to say that the game itself was really underwhelming. Just wasn't... wacky enough? They obviously set a difficulty level appropriate for kids, but for me at least it just didn't have that spark.
The pre-order for the Wacky Races: Deluxe Edition will launch on April 10th over on the CMON website. This great, limited edition version of the game comes with beautifully pre-painted miniatures, redesigned player dashboards, and thick punchboard Terrain tiles.
No pricing for the Deluxe FOMO Edition on their website...
