The company I work for got bought out by a private equity firm a few years back. The new owners wanted 10% layoffs, but by the time the folks that didn't like that left, it was down by around 15-20%, and morale was in the shitter. Capitalism sucks, I guess.

I don't know, I went into the storage area last night and Acquire was strutting around while scheming with Megacorps to decide which of the other games were going to be assimilated. Your normalization of private equity corporate raiding clearly has long-reaching ramifications!
