It's most likely not me. Emails that spoof someone generally come from other people's address books. I've been offline since Wednesday, but I'll have a look.

After judicious research, it turns out that there is nothing you can do about this kind of thing. It usually is not your account security that is the problem, but companies selling your email address to others for commercial benefit. Solution is to delete the returned emails and sit tight.

Our organization was hit mid-year (no training IT security training for users, we're govt and have pretty pathetic managers, and some clicked a phishing email that came in) and their account was used for sending out dozens (luckily not hundreds) of emails to people from their address books - we know this from teh header info in the emails received by the recipients and by checking our email gateway traffic.
