Trashdome - Crokinole VS PitchCar

WELCOME TO TRASHDOME!

This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting on it. End your first post in this thread with the title of the game you're placing a bet on (i.e. voting for) so its clear to me when reading it later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. Counting expansions or not is entirely up to you just as playing with them or not is. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.

Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;

Two games enter! One game leaves!

Tough call. Crokinole feels more like a game, but Pitch Car is just a pure fun racing thing. I'll go with Pitch Car by a nose.

Nah, Bisikle is okay, but to me it has a goofier feel to it with that weird little ball... Pitch Car has more of the pure flicking fun to it.

yeah that game with the little balls in the the pieces suck compared to pitch car.

and Crokinole is better than both.

I love Pitch Car. It's easy, fun, fast and involves race cars! Who could ask for anything more? Of course, it's somewhat difficult to set up in a bar.

This is maybe the toughest ever for me as flick games are like sex to me. Crokinole is an old family staple but it's really only good against equally skilled opponents and there isn't too many to be had. But there is some incredible skill in the game and I think it is deeper than pitchcar. It allows you to play in a more subtle setting. But it only works with 2 or 4 players.

Pitchcar still lets the better player win and it's great with 4-8 players, it's sensational, the jumps are a blast, knocking other cars off the track is awesome (trash variant only please) and it feels like an instant party once the game gets going. It's a group friendly game. No one boo hoo's when you bring it out (unlike crashing a legitiamte party with carcassonne).

I can't decide but since it's my families cottage favorite, and it is deeper (I normally favor depth over accesibility) I'm voting for...
