I did a Gears of War Review on Tuesday. But it seems to have completely vanished completely from the site. I submitted it as an article, got a couple of comments, and fixed the formatting.

Avery and I have kind of made it our go-to game for the past couple of weeks.

Yeah, it is. I haven't found anything screwed up yet.
I'm really digging it myself, I've played a couple of two and three player co-ops and lots of solo...protip, if you play solo, play with at least two COGs. Playing with one is a waste of time, and you miss out on some of the cool co-op mechanics.
Game is freakin' brutal though. Once you start going down, it's tough to recover.

Fixed it for ya Frankie, though now it thinks that our admin account "Boots" owns it. I'll have to tag Shellie in to finish the job and revert it back to you (I can't choose your account from the drop-down box in the admin tool to give it back to you.)
The reason this happens is because it prevents an article from getting published and someone going in and saying "THE NAZIS WERE ON TO SOMETHING" and having that on our front page. Changes in content and formatting cause a reversion in publishing.

The good notices here have sent me from not caring at all about this (having never played the video games) to actually being really excited. It sounds like something I would really enjoy.
Just one question: is it straight co-op (like Ravenloft), or 1 vs. everyone (like Descent)?

The Nazis established ethics in animal slaughter (stun then kill) throughout occupied Europe. It's ironic and hypocritical, but it's something.

Straight Co-Op with "AI" cards controlling the Locust.
It's better than expected, definitely. It's kind of a culmination of a couple of ideas kicking around in the Dudes in a Hall genre, including Claustrophobia and Ravenloft. It's also really not much like other FFG games except for those god damned scenario cards that I despise. Let's see, we can make the rulebook four or five more pages long to include the scenarios or we can put them on a fucking deck of cards. WAIT- Let's do BOTH!

Straight co-op was what I was hoping for. I am not a huge fan of 1-vs.-All (aside from Fury of Dracula), since the guy teaching the game always needs to play the 1. But straight co-op? That sounds great.
