Android for 2? was created by ChristopherMD
So what's the verdict on this game for 2 players?

I think you need at least three or the evidence-placing-game gets pretty uninteresting. But I've only played once, so take my opinion with a grain of salt.

Android is fine with two players. It does become a little too easy to figure who favors which suspect, and the decision of who to screw with the dark cards is easy. There are some minor issues regarding specific characters. For example, the flashback guy doesn't suffer enough flashbacks in a 2-player game. And the evidence movement gets fairly predictable in a 2-player game, bouncing back and forth between two areas.

Maka talks about 2 player all the time, maybe he'll drop in.

I'd like to hear myself. I've got it but have held off trying it with two, want to give it a "proper" first shake since it's a game that's polarized so many.

Opponent draws 2 cards for flashback man. The rest works fine.

I'm here :D

I posted some thoughts and a session report. I've only played the game with two, so I can't really compare, but after a few games I'd say the game is perfectly playable with two, and I'm enjoying it a lot.

It's true guessing your opponent's hunches is easier, but adding one suspect (4 instead of 3) gives you a few more possibilities for bluffing.

I also think the two player version of the card play works fine, maybe even better because it doesn't feel a lot like "take that" but instead both players know bad things WILL happen for sure (less bad if they're careful) and both players know they need to play as many dark cards too, so it kinds of balances out. I like to think of the dark cards as "intelligent random events" because you draw them randomly and only play them when the other player triggers them, so they fit much better into the story...

I'm not sure if I'd enjoy the game better with more players, but for me, the 2 player game is solid.
