Solo Talisman

Solo Talisman was created by Matt Thrower
So, I sat down today with my newly-acquired Talisman Vassal module (thanks, southernman) figuring it might be a fun game to solo. So I looked up "talisman solo" and "talisman solitaure" and got ... nothing. And was surprised.

I'd figured the obvious way to play this solo was to challenge oneself to reach the crown of command without ever running out of lives. But I haven't played it in a decade and there could be some compelling reason why that's a bad idea - like maybe it's too easy if you play in a very boring, conservative style for example.

So does anyone have any solo versions?

I've played solo in a race against time, to see if I can get to the Crown in 50 minutes or something like that. That probably wouldn't work as well in VASSAL, though.

You could try to win before a set number of turns?

Or you could run 3 or 4 characters, but only one of them is "you". The others just do whatever is the best for them or worst for you on their turn.
