Storm Over Stalingrad, for sure. You'll only regret it if you don't buy it.

If i were not broke or concerned for international postage rates id consider;Karelia 44, Great Campaigns of the ACW either game, Spec ops 4 (it has a storm over ww1 design in it i think, which is supposed to be awesome), Angola, Kingdom of Heaven.

Though in reality i'd probably skip Angola as it wouldn't get played. British people have a lot of colonial guilt and Angola would make them deeply uncomfortable.

Stonewall Jackson's Way 2 is tempting, but I seriously do not have any money for it. I've been trying to make sure I have the whole series reprints, as I love the series. I've slacked on this one.

Angola is the sleeper here. Great game if you regularly have four who can engage in reasonably complex games. Blurs a lot of boundaries, it's not just a great wargame but a great game. I don't play it enough.

If only Warriors of God were on that list!

So I just looked at Angola and it has an 8+ rating on That One Site and is also by the Ragnar brothers. I will never in my life find four people to play it unless I can teach my four kids to play it before they move away.

Spec Ops 4 contains What Price Glory!

Storm Over Stalingrad looks great--not too heavy, and there is interest in Stalingrad in our home.

I already own Lincolns War,What Price Glory, Storm over Staligrad, Angola and GCotACW. Everything else seem to complicated or to long.

Lincoln's War stumbled out of the gate with a poor rule book. It's since been rewritten and released in text form, has been tightened since then and is due for the graphical revision this winter. The new rules tighten some issues in the game and make it much clearer how to play. If you're on the edge this may make it worth your while. I played it once during development and got a turn (or two?) in with KingPut last month and it has some very interesting concepts in it that I have not seen before.

Starkweather has ASL players at Winter Offensive play Storm Over Stalingrad, and he jokes that all that play it buy it immediately afterwards. Nakamura title, perhaps his most accessible. Great little game.
