I played it twice on separate game nights back when it was new. I'm not a fan of anachronisms so samurai fighting dinosaurs isn't my thing.

Yeah, if it's not your thing, it's not your thing. I got into it in 2007. By that time there was already about 6 waves of material. Common squads and building more cohesive armies really fleshed it out and turned it into something special. (Especially when you consider that you could still build solid armies around Uniques)!

I genuinely regret getting rid of my Starship Troopers miniatures game collection.
It was such a fun game, with interesting tactical choices.
I had nearly everything for it, but sold it off out of frustration with the way it was handled by the publisher, which was a mistake on my part.
