I got the first kickstarter and am getting in on this one. Sure is a hell of a lot cheaper than buying GW minis.

I would actually be interested in the Core Pathfinder Hero's if there was any in the first set.SuperflyTNT wrote:

I still have te lion's share of the first wave. If you (or anyone reading this) wants some of the previous models let me know, i'm selling them off cheap to 'my peeps'.
I really only wanted maybe 30 of the first wave. Still cheaper than buying singles by a long shot.

Three weeks later and we're only a little over 150 minis. I'm considering pulling my pledge on this one. It's a fine value if you would get use out of 80+ of these but it's such a worse deal than the first one and having the first one, to me, makes a lot of these redundant. There's a bunch of cool sculpts here but they're all tangled in add-ons and expansions. I might just pull out and piggy back a set of mouselings and beast mode on my buddy's pledge.Wetworks wrote: Thanks hotseatgames. We're currently at 140 minis in the core set, although it appears that freebies for the core set are gonna slow down dramatically as they start to push their expansions and addons.

I'd wait till the last minute on it, as I think it's going to get a lot crazier again at the end when everyone starts updating their pledges to how much they actually want rather than just the $100 original buy in most people are likely still sitting at.

Even if you don't plan to use the bases you have to figure they're worth at least $10, would cost $30 to add an extra 80 bases to your order. So we can figure at least $10 worth of value added to the core set.
$90 / 158 miniatures = 57 cents per miniature
The price can be better pending how much you value the bases.
That's still a pretty good deal. The first kickstarter had around 45 goblins, kobolds, and familiars, the second kickstarter has none of those. Most of the miniatures in the second core set are medium to large figures.
I'm gonna pick up Narthrax and Mashaaf + core set.
I'll be making cards for the monsters and adding them to the d&d adventure board game series.
Also, when the Dwarven Forge Caverns kickstarter comes out in February I plan on going big on those. Then making my own dungeon crawl board game for personal use.

Also the first KS offered $25 add-on credit which I feel really made it a good deal, if this one had done so I'd have stayed in. Can't wait to get some of these though!
