LOS laser for miniatures games was created by Gary Sax

Is there an established go to for miniatures gamer on something that paints a visible straight line for LOS purposes? Obviously there are a ton on amazon for construction purposes, wondered if there was one a lot of gamers like.

My local shop got some of the Army Painter ones in and I've been very happy with it

I have used the same dowel for 25 years.

I like those super cheapo key card clips with the spring loaded cord.

Since we have an overhead light above our gaming table I just hover a tape measure or ruler over the engagement and use the crisp shadow edge as the sight-line. It actually works great.

Also also not a laser.

Chrome Dome makes a good laser.

Also, not suitable for gaming.
