Blood Bowl: Worth it?

Is Blood Bowl worth it? Less miniatures to paint and looks like a fun game.

YES,YES,YES...its my favorite game ...EVER.
The less mini's is a plus (painting a whole Space Wolves army right now...uhggg) and its fairly easy to learn..in my opinion.

Oh and its more fun than a barrel of monkeys!

It is a very good game. Especially if you can get any league play together.

I find bloodbowl more of a lifestyle game, than a casual one. It's one that shines when you play in campaign or league over several matches. That is when bloodbowl really shines. Playing it on a rare occasion, I think some people might find game play kind of thin.

There isn't a session of bloodbowl, there's a season.

If you have a couple of friends who want to play a season as a league then Blood Bowl is an experience like no other.

It's pricey, but yes, BB is an awesome game.

Unfortunately, the rules have become geared more and more toward league play over the years, but you can still play with the stock teams that come with it and have a hell of a good time.

Hard core fanboy alert!


In my opinion Blood Bowl and Mordheim remain the best GW games ever made.

As suggested already, both are best played as on ongoing season or campaign.
