School Holidays!! was created by ThirstyMan
My school is on vacation from Nov 4 to Nov 12th. My wife is popping off to China with a few girlfriends during that time.
I've got nothing on. Anyone know of any cons worth moving my fat arse to go to?
If no general gaming cons, I'm OK with ASL etc etc. Either UK or US.
All information gratefully received.

Man, I wish MY school was on vacation that week. I would host ANDYCONN!

ANDYCONN would be sweet. The closest thing I can come up with is EuroQuest in Maryland, but it's not as robust as the WBC.

Mostly historical miniatures but I've heard good things about MilleniumCon
www.millenniumcon.com/
you'll miss the last day though.

I did see this one but a 17hr flight back and school opening Sunday morning would probably mean missing more than the last day making it pointless. The previous weekend would probably be better for me...
Ah well, I guess its video games for a week and/or VASSAL
Hey, Al, thanks for that. See you in July

Not all is lost if New York - CT or Atlanta can host AndyCon Nov 8 - 12. EuroQuest in Maryand is Nov 3-6. So I can host AndyCon part 1 if New York or Atlanta can host Andycon part 2. Now the idea of Euroquest may sound terrible but me and half the people attending only do open gaming. So Combat Comander for shots can be set up. We'll also be playing some great Ameritrash at Euroquest.

Nice as this sounds, my wife is now saying airfare to China at $2000 is too much so I'm not sure if I'm free. If I am I'll be all over this idea......
