The Z-MAN COMETH Nov 29-30

Sorry for the late notice but I am sending out an invitation to any and all gamers who want to hang with the BIG Z. If you're from out of town, I'll put you up at CasaAvery and we'll spend two glorious days gaming out butts off.

Richard Launius has secured his clubhouse so there could potentially be lot of people there - though usually it runs around 30-50 peeps.

There are several protoypes on the docket as well as anyhting Zev brings down to try out.

Let me know ASAP if you're interested in coming down and I'll do whatever I can to facilitate travel and boarding.

BTW Airtran is running a sale to Atlanta. Some of you may be able to fly down for about $100.

C'mon - Kinput has set the bar coming across to the UK, and I even managed to put myself out by driving 50mins across Englands winding, skinny, slow roads.

Ugh, you suck Avery (by which I mean you rock). I wish I had the time and money to make such a trip...

Here is the official post from Launius. I'm taking both days off and helping out but its his dealio. If anyone is coming in from out of town I can pick you up at the airport. There will likely be gaming earlier on Monday but the 'official' start time is that evening.

All - We are fortunate to have Zev from Z-Man games join us November 29th & 30th at the Clubhouse. I know it will be tough for many to make Monday and Tuesday after being off for Thanksgiving the weekend before, but it is a great opportunity to meet and game with Zev if you have yet to do so, and for those of us who know him it is a great opportunity to renew that friendship. As always - all are welcome, so feel free to invite friends.

The game times will be as follows:


Monday - November 29th 7:00 PM - Midnight
Tuesday - November 30th 9:00 AM - Midnight

You know about 3 months back I was actually stuck overnight in ATL due to a missed connecting flight. It was a Saturday night and thought about trying to contact you guys to play some games or go bar-hopping. But I could never decide if I would receive a warm greeting or a punch in the face, so I never tried to PM anyone. Also the prospect of renting a car for just a couple of hours put me a little off as well.

Now since this time I am actually being invited, and since I'm obsessed with Earth Reborn, I would gladly pay the airfare to play games with all of you and Z-Man. But anyway I can't go because I don't have the vacation days, nor the balls to try to explain such a trip to my wife. Just know that if Zev brings a copy of Earth Reborn I'll be hating all of you from my little corner of the world.

I'd love to come, but I'm not taking PTO _and_ hiring a babysitter for 8-10 hours to go play games on a monday or tuesday- I live about an hour away from Richard's _without_ traffic and my wife is back in season with the TV show she works on so it's just not possible.

Next time, do this on a weekend or at Frank's!

Okay, well now I'm just fucking bummed.

I was so hoping to playtest Earth Reborn at Gencon- but Zev was crazy busy and it didn't work out.

Now all of you bastards are all getting together at the clubhouse, playtesting some really cool shit and I can't be there to take part in the fun.
