WELCOME TO TRASHDOME!
This is part of a series of bloody matches to the death. Show support for your favorite game so it will do better in the fight. You can support it by writing why you think its the better game and more importantly by betting (i.e. voting for) it. Please make it clear for when I check the bets later. You have until Friday when I tally the bets and declare the winner. I will reserve my bet for any tie-breakers.
Although you should be familiar with both games, there is no rule that says you have to have played both of them. The only rule in Trashdome is this;

Agricola is a strong 7.
Executes what it attempts to do perfectly, sadly it ushered in a new age of boring games quite supremely.
I have never played Zombies. I assume it did not usher in the age of zombie saturation that we now reside in. Fucking zombies.

This is a good one. I bet I would like AGRICOLA if I got to play it with Matt and some other of your clowns. But in and of itself, it is such a fucking bore. It's just so weak thematically, I can't get into it. Who wants to agonize for two hours about how quickly to build a room? Ugh.
ZOMBIES!!! is a fucking goof. It's also boring, but it's impossible to take seriously, so everyone tends to play loose and easy. Hence my vote.

Have you ever thought about the disconnect between mechanism and theme in Zombies? The only part of that game that makes any sense is moving your pawn and shooting Zombies.Space Ghost wrote: Zombies!!! if for no other reason that two people can't build fence on the same turn in Agricola. I really, really hate to do this.
Agricola.. but only slightly. However there is a higher chance I'd play Zombies!!! again because with a bunch of kids it could be fun but with adults there are better games than Agricola that scratch pretty much the same itch.

Zombies are make believe; fence building isn't. And, I know that I have built fence on the same day as my neighbor before. Just one of those little things that rips me out of the experience.
I still contend the best game about farming is THE FARMING GAME.

i rather dislike both games. I will concede that Agricola is one of the better euros, but its still an arbeitary VP collection fest that fails to realise its uninspired theme. It does however tell a reasonable story arc, and will end, neither of these are standard with Zombies.
