A Jeopardy! & TWBG connection? Hell yes.

I was reading an online Slate article about Jeopardy four day champion Jackie Fuchs, who as it turns out is a lawyer and played bass for a little known band called The Runaways!!!!

Anyhow, it turns out she's also a hobby board gamer. There's a link to her board game recommendations with a Jeopardy! viewer. I clicked the link and discovered the exchange was with some boardgame nerd called MB.

Needless to say this misanthrope called MB sent a link to our website, to which Ms. Fuchs said she would check out.

Pretty f-ing cool.

And here I thought it would be about a contestant getting a restraining order against Black Barney.

Dude, it’s a Runaways connection as much as a Jeopardy one. I saw an interview with her on Pitchfork and she mentioned playing board games so I thought I’d ask. She is up in it for sure. I couldn’t help but offer the link. She even showed her cred by talking Keyforge and Root.

Old news....Barney's fixation with Jennings was short lived.

I had a Jeopardy girl on my 4-man trivia team once, she was great. The night her show televised we watched in a bar on a big screen and every time she got one right, the place went nuts like a hockey game. Was a blast.

Small brag: I was a 2-time winner, back in '04. I was lucky enough to play the week after Ken Jennings lost. The company I worked for then (and now) threw a big Christmas/viewing party on the night of my first win.

As for trivia team, I do okay. Rappers/21-century pop music are my weakness, but one of the other players has it covered.
