Bugs: Recent Topics Paging, Uploading Images & Preview (11 Dec 2020)

Recent Topics paging, uploading images and preview bugs require a patch which has not yet been released.

× A place to talk about stuff that doesn't belong anywhere else.

I have a hard time posting things... is this burnout?

I love this site. The community is great and I check almost daily. The few of you I've had the pleasure to meet and play games with in real life have been amazing and I hope to do it more. I've had maybe one of the best months of game related stuff in a long, long time. In since post-Christmas I played TI twice, Dune twice, some Luchador!, introduced two people into Warhammer stuff and painting, sculpted a miniature face for the first time, created my first ever RPG one shot and ran it twice, and have crafted my lowly Dwarf seaman, through drinking and bar fighting, into a mighty airship Sea Captain with a grill made of gems in a Warhammer 2nd edition RPG campaign.

In the past most of these events I would be happy to log on and type a few words or snap a photo to share as I enjoy reading the exploits of others who do post on the site. But damn I've had a hard time motivating myself to do it, this post included. Even when the "do you still TI" thread popped up, a game I'm happy to champion and have spent a ton of hours playing over the years I couldn't find the words to share. I think some of it is some deep seeded misplaced desire to go against the trend of people posting things online to validate the things they do? Maybe it is just a phase and this should be in bitchfest...

Anyway if you don't hear from me in a while I'm still in the shadows drinking everyone else's content all in. I like to feel like I contribute just as I enjoy other people's efforts and if anyone has any tips to break the slump let me know.

That sounds pretty normal to me. Enjoy the richness of your offline life, but hit a thank you button every so often so we know that you are still around and don't worry that something dreadful has happened to you.

It's normal and happens to everyone from time to time. There are times when you fancy going to a forum more and times you fancy it less. It happens to me too, from time to time :)

Glad you’re still going to visit and check in. Be sure to read my mediocre reviews and drop a comment if you watch any of them. A nice easy way to put your toes in the water

I’m not sure what to recommend to get you to feel like posting more. When I’m in a slump , I tend to post more, hoping to trigger Pete or Repo cuz I feel like I deserve it.
