The text colors are a huge improvement from a readability and usability sense. I don't think it's particularly stylish but I value reading the forums more than I do the site's style right now.

Aww crap! You're making my mascara run.
It's been a harsh three days getting everything up and functioning, plus I got my arm twisted into playing Ticket to Ride today when I really wanted to play Warrior Knights. The pain! Well, we didn't crash and burn, so I'm going to bed on this high note.

I like the new style. light on dark is easier for me to read, and hey, this sort of horrid green is actually close to my favorite color.
I would suggest a slightly brighter version of orange, but can roll with it...
