Site Improvements and Future Plans

FYI, if anyone is interested, this week old version of our site bashed a bunch of bugs and made some improvements.

1. The quote buttons in both the comments and the forums are working. Although they will foul up on some browsers if certain punctuation marks are enclosed in the quote tags.
2. You can input information in your profile and it appears in your Vcard on the forum.
3. Everyone now has a subscriptions AND a favorites page that they can access via the Community menu. The unsubscribe buttons on the subscription page work.
4. Forum and Main site sessions are staying in sync better, and people aren't getting logged off the forums in the middle of writing posts.
5. A major subscription/e-mail bug was fixed. That bit has been invisible on the front end, but it is a huge deal on the back end.
6. We cut down on the number of SQL statements generated, so pages should be loading faster when you comment.
7. We bitched and moaned to our host provider, and they finally fixed a problem with the server.
8. The submit article page is no longer being pushed down below the left menu column, as it was on some people's systems.
9. The "Browse All Articles" pages aren't breaking up, as they were on some people's systems.
10. The text sizer control that people have on their personal browsers works on the main site, so individual users have personal control over the text size of articles.
11. We cut the banner height down by 25%
12. Plus, avatars of the person who made the last post on the forums-that's cool.

Personally, I think this isn't bad for a site that was set up by a bunch of flailers and debugged by a team of flying monkeys.

Anyway, we know there are still some issues, but the last time I brought them up to the debuggers, they replied, "Bite me" and then threw monkey poo at me.

There are fixes and improvements planned for the future, but for right now, we all need a bit of a break.

We have tested the site with five different configurations and have been unable to see this problem. Perhaps the problem is being caused by a setting on your browser. Can you please post a screen shot to assist us in resolving this issue for you.
