Need to know "how to"...how to change your avatar, where to find stuff, etc? Post it here and we'll give you the details.

What's going to be the best way to find an avatar to use? Is there a way to just convert any pic you find to the correct proportions or what?

mine sized down to fit automatically, and so should yours. There might be a limit to the size of the file, but most jpg or gif files should be no problem.

Mine's a PNG so that works as well.

An explanation of the gazillion icons you see when you edit your profile would be helpful.
