Surprise, much to the shame of Eurogamers and board game snobs of every stripe, here is a Cracked LCD Games from the Crypt installment about electric football. Yes, it's a board game, not a toy. LOOPIN' LOUIE is a toy. What's more, you plug into the wall. It's like my whole "technology and gaming" argument come to fruition- and this thing has been around since the '40s!

Check out this ad- it claims that this is the game that makes all others obsolete. I believe them, look at that control handle. The one I had didn't have that.

I heard that the Super Bowl was this weekend thanks to a giant beer display at the grocery store, so I thought this was an appropriate time to pay tribute to this bastard child of the tabletop gaming world. Happy Super Bowl everybody, and go Falcons! Kick a field goal!
