Playing games vs. Shooting your friends. was created by Cranberries
I've spent two weeks forcing myself through the Monsterpocalypse rules. The group I started to escape lifeless eurogames has been infiltrated by lifeless eurogamers who are all lining up to play Le Havre this Friday (group members: I'm just trash talking--I love you guys). An airsoft store opened down the street from my awesome FLGS store. I went there today and shot a gas-powered all metal WeTech Hi-Capa semi-automatic. Then my son and I shot the airsoft shotgun. It was loads of fun. I bought him a disposable pistol, shot it with him in the backyard, then told him to put it away. Five minutes later he was waving it at his sister so my wife took it away and reamed me out. He is going to play "night games" with his school friend up the street tomorrow. There's a teen who hides on the roof with his sniper rifle and they try to take him out.
So I look at my closet of unplayed games (no time, unsupportive spouse, dearth of Ameritrashocity), none of which thrill me much except for Conflict of Heroes, and I'm thinking it is time to sell some games and get some guns.
I'm hoping I can get 4-5 friends together, and whip up some sort of Zombie or Werewolf scenario, where instead of voting we shoot the suspected werewolf. We just need a good abandoned building to play in so we don't get our heads blown off by Utah's finest. To me, that sounds about 500x more fun (the airsoft, not the head getting blown off) than playing Galaxy Trucker or Le Havre. It's Spring. I need to run around and shoot people. I am 42 years old.

I can only imagine the level of "reaming".
Your plan sounds like a lot of fun -- good luck getting it together.

You're nuts. Where's the airsoft store? Not that I'm interesting, I'm paranoid of getting shot in the eye by just about anything.

It's on 109 E. and 400 S. in Orem, in a yellow warehouse off of Orem Blvd, just down the street from the Revolution! So are you playing Le Havre tomorrow?
